Mission
Hi! This is the plan: travel to Banjul, in the Gambia, in a beautiful VW combi with 35 years old. Our journey will begin in Lisbon, on 27th December 2009 and will take place in 6 countries, over almost three weeks.
And everything is for Charity. We aim to help Terra dos Sonhos, a portuguese wish-granting organization that offers dreams (and a great smile!) to children with terminal diseases. In order to achieve that, we aim to raise money. Help us help them! Also, when arriving in Gambia, we will offer our loved car to charity! It will be auctioned and the money delivered to a local NGO.
We hope to spend amazing days, meet extraordinary people, experience some of the Sahara desert and, at the same time, to contribute to a better life for the most needed, by raising funds for good causes. You can now follow the car preparation, help raising money and finally, enjoy our journey!
We will try to send back a report everyday (or when possible) so that you can keep up with our trials and tribulations and accomplish with us this little dream helping those who most need aid. Thanks for your support!
