Helping us making this challenge a success. Helping many children with chronic diseases smiling and believing that dreaming is still possible. And also helping the Gambians to improve their life quality.
Basically, you have two main ways of HELPING.
1) You can help us covering the costs of the project - so, you will be a Sponsor (either corporate or private sponsor). BUY A RAFFLE!
Let’s face it. This project has some costs. Neither Jorge nor Gonçalo will profit from this project (other than living this amazing experience!). The estimated costs for the project are 3.000 Eur. These include things like car preparation, petrol and oil for the 5.000 Km of the trip, flights back home from Gambia, medication and insurances, some expenses on initiatives for promoting the project and getting additional funds for Terra dos Sonhos, etc. We are committed to keep these costs to a minimum.
Gonçalo is already abdicating the car (giving it away for charity) and we are incurring in other intangible costs (for example, assuming that we will not receive our regular professional salary during the period of the challenge). Basically, we do assume those costs and we are not expecting your help in order to cover them. But we still appreciate your help.
You can sponsor us in many ways: cash contributions, getting involved and helping spread the word or giving away any of those precious items we are desperate to have and you don't need anymore. Most of the equipment as well as the vehicle will be auctioned at the end of the event, with the money going to The Gambia people. So, any of the needed items would be greatly appreciated during the challenge and converted into money for the Gambian charities at the end of our journey.

2) You can help directly the non-profit institution we are supporting - Terra dos Sonhos - with a Donation (either individuals or companies).
Our Fund Raising target for Terra dos Sonhos is 5.000 Eur. Terra dos Sonhos will give you a receipt in the amount of the donation offered.
If your company would like to give a corporate donation, don't forget it will be able to have fiscal benefits from it. Terra dos Sonhos will be happy to inform you on these details. Your employees will also be able to get more involved with the institution and might even have the opportunity to participate in the delivery of one of the dreams. This might be a fantastic way to develop Corporate Social Responsibility culture in your company. Become a partner of Terra dos Sonhos and have your logo on their web page.
